Start
Melrose Candle Company was started after we took a life changing trip down the California coast.
We spent two weeks in each other's pockets and by the time we got home, we had created a business which was inspired by the many markets we visited, especially the famous Melrose market.
The thought of 3 of us being able to create products and most importantly work together, we started making candles in a room in our attic at home. We simply wanted to make scent based on stories or experiences we have had in our lives.
The Middle
After spending 6 months trialing products and researching what is the best materials to use and where offers the best quality, we decided on a mix of Soy & Coconut wax. We found after extensive testing, this offered the cleanest burn for our oils which are made from pure essential oils and passed safe around pets.
We offer online shopping and have a physical store which we opened in september 2021.
What next
Over the past 4 years, we have built a nice customer base and have managed to keep employment of 3 staff which we are proud of. We hope to keep growing and partnering with like minded businesses, while offering great products to our fantastic customers.
